This strange “mixtape” was reportedly put together by Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, one year before the release of the band’s 1989 debut album, Bleach.
Montage Of Heck was created with a four-track cassette recorder and uses sounds from Cobain’s personal collection, radio and demos. During the recording, you can hear samples from artists like the Jackson Five, the Beatles, Queen, Metallica, Cher and many more. Listen to the mixtape below, check out the full tracklisting, and let us know what you think.
